If this is your first rodeo spending St. Patrick’s Day at the Ugly Oyster, here’s what you need to know. We DO NOT take reservations on this day…and if it’s the food you’ll be wanting, we suggest you get here early, it tends to go fast! CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE
Slow-poached in a bath of Smithwick’s and spices, cooked to just the right tenderness. We later add to this brine red bliss potatoes and chunks of sweet carrots, finishing it off with the cabbage. The end result is mouth watering goodness…$14.95
Chunks of top round and ground beef and ground lamb with a layer of Wisconsin cheddar cheese, nestled with a medley of vegetables, and finally topped with creamy mashed potatoes…..$9.95
GUINNESS BEEF STEW
We slow – roasted a whole top round of beef and basted it with Guinness, gently baked a selection of root vegetables, including onions carrots, red bliss potatoes and parsnips, melding all these flavors together and finishing it off with a cabernet to make a delectable gravy.
This is a 3 day process that allows the flavors to “stew” to perfection…..$12.95
FISH AND CHIPS
A fresh, never frozen filet of Pollock coated in-house with a Guinness batter, served with fresh-cut Idaho chips cooked in peanut oil…..$11.50
